cannot create a graph from the data

Hello,

I am trying to create a simple graph from simple data. However, it does not work.
Basically I would like a line-graph of temperature values that are taken every 30 minutes.

please see the file attached.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?

and yes, what you propose is indeed a work-around.
although I had hoped to maintain the date and time values.

Just select the data in columns A and B from row 1 to 337 and select Insert - Scatter with straight lines.

Works without a hitch at my end.

However, it does not work.

Can you elaborate? What are you doing and what is the outcome/error message/(unwanted) result??

"Does not work" is never good enough a description to provide further help.
