    How to create a list based on another column.

    I am looking to create a list based on the value of another column. Basically I want one column to have names and another table numbers. I want to then take all of the names matched up with each table and list them out in another section. Is this possible?

    Welcome to the Excel Forum.

    Please attach your workbook or a sample workbook that accurately portrays your current workbook on one sheet, and what it should look like 'After' on another sheet. This makes it much easier to see exactly what you want to do, as well as shows us whether there is a consistent number of rows between tables and such.

    To post/attach your workbook, click on the New Post button, then scroll down and click on the Manage Attachments button.

    Billwedgie,

    Detach/open workbook BuildTables - Billwedgie - EF747507 - SDG13.xls and run macro BuildTables.

    I have used column L to list all the Tables and the Guests at each table.

    Each time you run the macro, column L is deleted, and the new table is created.
