Email Address Domain filtering

Hello everyone, this is my first post so hopefully I do this right!
I'm sure this has been asked before, but bless it I can't find it.

I have a list of 700k+ email addresses in Column A, I want to be able to filter the domains so I can see how many we have of each and rank them by size and make a pie chart for a presentation.

At first I thought I would just do a filter search and look for 'contains @yahoo.com,' or 'contains @gmail.com' etc. except after doing all the major email providers I still have over half the list ranked as "other".

So I figured, there is a way to filter from the '@' and everything to the right of it?

Welcome to the forum.

If the data starts in A2 (filtering requires a header row) use a formula in an adjacent column:

=mid(A2, find("@", A2) + 1, 99)

... and filter, sort, whatever, on that.

Now before I call this thread solved, what would you say the best way to count each domain?

EDIT: nm I got it, Made a pivot table, cool!
