Hi there, I'm new in the forum...
I use the OpenOffice.org 3 Excel; I got some problem with a kind of idea I have in mind; I'll explain right now.
I would like to generate an archive from the 2nd page on, and a "compiler" –do not know if it's the right word... – on the first; my aim is to write anything in the 1st page's cells so as to make them appear in the following pages in some ordered way, and then –here come my troubles– to be able to let the last informations –in the following pages– stay saved as I go adding –modifying the previous in the 1st page– new infos –which will be set in the next available place every new time the new info/s come/s– .
Summarizing... (1st page = A, 2nd-3rd-4th pages, ... = B)
1) write infos in cells in A
1.1) these infos go to certain cells in B and stay saved
2) write new infos in A erasing the previous ones –always in A– without erasing the ones stored in B
2.2) these new in A will be added in B next to the previous ones in B itself
In other words I'd like it to be an iterated-increasing series, not a looped-and-self-erasing one. I don't know if I explained myself properly... Last one, again: my problem is NOT my new-adding-infos-PLACING lack of tips, but the TEMPORARILY-written-infos-saving.
I was personally thinking about some "button" linked to some macro, but that's an informatics' field I totally cannot cope with... (I'm just a statistician).
