Question How do you refer to the content of one cell for multiple formulas?

    HELP!!

I have created a spread sheet for all my product inventory. I need to be able to convert many prices into Dirhams from US dollars. This is a fixed rate of 3.68. I created this figure in a separate cell on my spread sheet (i.e. O2). I need to refer to this cell for a formula that I use for every product in my inventory. The problem is that when I try to copy and paste my formula it keeps changing O2 to O3 and O4 and O5 etc. I need to be able to make the formula copy and paste but not change that one particular reference in the formula.

I appreciate that copying and pasting formulas means it dynamically adjusts cell names according to the row you're in. I still want it to do that but I just want this one cell reference to stay absolute. i.e. not dynamically change.

Is this possible? Sorry... I'm not an excel guru by any stretch. Thanks.

change reference to O2 to $O$2 ... this "freezes" the column and row references.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
