    rounding to non-prime number

    Hello friends,

    Is there a formula for rounding a number to as few places less as possible in order to create a non-prime number? I would like to preserve as many places beyond the decimal point as possible, while creating a greatest common divisor higher than 1.

    Thank you all very much!

    Do you actually mean something like this :
    0.121212
    then you want it to show 0.1
    or you want to round down to 0 no matter what decimal it is?

    Try these :
    1. Format | Cells | Number | Number | Change the decimal places
    2. Use =ROUNDDOWN()
    3. Or maybe =ROUNDUP()
