    copy formula and increment worksheet

    I am using this formula:
    ='[November2010HighDesk.xls]Mon 1'!$B$14+'[November2010LowDesk.xls]Mon 1'!$B$14
and would like to drag it over a column only changing the Mon 1 to Tues 2(there are 30 worksheets in the file "November2010HighDesk.xls" named mon 1, tues 2, wed 2 etc etc. So the next cell should read:
    ='[November2010HighDesk.xls]Tues 2!$B$14+'[November2010LowDesk.xls]Tues 2!$B$14
and so forth, but when I click and drag it only copies the formula with out making the change. Any suggestions? Can this be done?

Re: copy formula and increment worksheet

There's no simple way to make sheet reference names change in that manner in "copy formula down" method. The INDIRECT() function might be used in a very complicated way to get it to work, but the resulting formulas created using the INDIRECT() wouldn't return a value from those workbooks unless the workbooks were open, all of them. Doubt that's of any use to you.
