Split 1 cell into 2 using delimiter by function not text to columns function

Hi im trying to split a cell into two different cells the cell looks like 1.2/5.9 or sometimes 12.2/14.9, i dont want to use the text to columns fuction because it doesnt not change the output cells automaticly when i update content of orginal cell. A1 - original string
    B1: =LEFT(A1, FIND("/",A1)-1)
    C1: =MID(A1, FIND("/", A1)+1,LEN(A1))
