Hi

I'm currently working on an estimating pack for the company I work for and want to tie in the purchase requisition form to the material cost calculation.

I have my spreadsheet linking the requisition to the material cost sheet so that when the quantity of an item is entered this automatically updates on the requisition. As some of the items won't be used on each order I don't want to link each good onto the requisition form. Therefore I was hoping to use a formula that would bring in the item name when a quantity was entered. I had a quick look using a Lookup formula but I don't think this is the best one to be using.

I am linking between seperate sheets within the workbook.

Any help would be appreciated!
