    Validation Locks

Is there a way to lock down validations? Within the spreadsheet I am working with I am required to use lookup functionality but when I do the validation is removed despite all lookup returns always equaling one of the validation categories. Please see the attached file. Thanks in advance!

    Re: Validation Locks

I'm not sure what you're asking. Where in your sheet do you have validation that is not locked down? Validation only works on cells where you are entering data manually so you cannot apply it to a cell with a formula in it. Is that what you are asking?

    Re: Validation Locks

You answered it correctly in regards to only being able to use Validation with manual entries. Thanks for the help!!
