    Splitting of Text

    Hi All !

    How can split text written in one cell to two cells.
    For example, AB i swritten in one cell, how can we split them in two cells separetly like A in one cell & B in second cell.

    You just need to write formulas in both cells based on whatever criteria you have for splitting the text. It could be based on the length of the text (e.g., 1st 5 characters goes in cell A and the rest in cell B) or based on finding a delimiter of some sort (like a - or .), or whatever. If you can identify the rule(s) for splitting the text, coming up with the formulas should be fairly easy. Folks here can help if you just tell us what your criteria are.
