    Countif Function ?

    Hi

    This is all weather data related.
    I have a months worth of data and want to find the various Maximum temperatures during that period
    e,g number of days Max temperature, was between 5.1 and 10.0

    etc=COUNTIF(B9:B39,">=5.1=10.0")

    I dont quite understand what I need betwwen 5.1 and 10.0, I think I am missing a symbol as = sign and & sign dont work

    Many thanks

    Paul

    Re: Countif Function ?

    Try:

    =COUNTIFS(B9:B39,">=5.1",B9:B39,"<=10.0")
    Where there is a will there are many ways.
