    Conditional Formatting

    Hello,

I have a column with salary data in each cell. I would like managers to review and change the data if need be.

Can I use conditional formatting to highlight the same cell when any changes occur? If not, what else can I do? I would really like it if only that cell becomes highlighted.

    Thank you.

    Brandy

    Re: Conditional Formatting

Sounds like Track Changes is the thing you want.
2003: Tools > Protection > Protect and Share > tick the box and add a password
2007: Review tab, Changes Group, Protect and Share Workbook > tickbox and password

Then any changes to your book will be tracked and you can review them, accept/reject, etc.
