    Date format issues

    Hello everyone,

I have a cell for example A1 where a user enter the date value.
I want to specify the date format to be MM-DD-YYYY.
Also, if the user enters only YY(last 2 digits) for the year it should automatically format it to YYYY.
how can this be done? you help is really appreciated.

    Thanks,

Click on the Format Tab Select Date and make your format selection.

    Re: Date format issues

    Thanks.
I have tried that but once it doesnt work since I am importing data from another sheet.
The green triangles show up which tell me there is an format issue and I want to avoid those.

What we would be a good way to write that in VB?
