    Changing negative value to 0

    Hello

I was hoping somebody could help please.

I have a spreadsheet that contains formulas, which show negative values at times, but i dont wish these to be shown.

For instance, in cell f3, contains =f5-f6 , but when it is negative i wish it to show 0. is this possible.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Joe

    Try this

    =IF(F5-F6<0,0,F5-F6)

    Hope this helps

If you wish it to appear as 0 but retain its value for downstream calculation (kindof a bad idea, I think), then you can format as, for example, General;"0";0

If you want the downstream result to be 0, then change the formulas to =MAX(0, your formula)
