    Sum on 2 criteria

Pardon me if this has been answered before but I searched the forum and couldn't find what I need.

I have a column of amounts in F, but need to sum ONLY those amounts IF in the same row in Column D there is any value (not blank). Similar to the resolved "COUNTIF on 2 Criteria" someone else asked but I can't figure this one out.
    Regards,

    Michele

    =SUMIF(D:D,"<>"&"",F:F)
