Truncate and capitalise

Hi. Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't seem to find an answer anywhere else.

I would like to take a business name I input in cell A1 and both capitalise it and truncate the number of characters to 16 in cell B1. I can do both individually but I can't seem to be able to do both at once. i.e. =UPPER(A1) as well as =LEFT(A1,16) at the same time. Can this be done?
