Is there a formula that can return a true false response after looking at a group of variables and determining whether at least one of those variables has a value greater than 2?
Variable names as follows:
PCLC_1
PCLC_2
PCLC_3
PCLC_4
PCLC_5
Values range from 1 - 5 for each variable. Needs to calculate even if there is missing data.

Hey, not sure what is that that you want. Do you mind posting an actual spreadsheet with the data scenario you have and show exactly what result you want?
But in the mean time (assuming your values are listed in A1 to A5), place in B1 and drag down:
=value(Right(A1,1))=2

Trying to calculate whether a person has scored a certain way over various variables.
That is, has the person scored above 2 on at least one variable for variables PCLC_1 to PCLC_5, have they scored above 2 on at least three variables for variables PCLC_6 to PCLC_12, and have they scored above 2 on at least two variables for variables PCLC_13 to PCLC_17.
Hopefully this helps.
Also a yes = 1 and no = 0.
