I want to highlite Saturday only and using

this also highlites blank cells --- no other day will highlite blank cells except for Saturday
is there another formula that will not colour blank cells

Hi, you could do that with AND function but that would need two calculations...

Maybe it's better to use this:

=WEEKDAY($A1-1)=6
