    Leave Planner

    Hi

I was created an annual leave planner and I would like the box in Colum A to reduce the number of days they have left every time they book leave.

I would like it to start off as 25 days leave including UK bank holidays.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Leave Planner

    Hi,

Assuming you have some sort of matrix of months and days in which you put say an 'x' whenever someone books a holiday day, name this range say 'Hols'

Now in your A cell where you wish to see the days left enter the formula

    Thank you for your reply,

Sorry I forgot to attached the excel workbook.

Its automatcally updates when they insert there dates into the colums with a colour.

Im not sure the defining by a name would work in this case.

    Re: Leave Planner

    Use a helper column.

    AM5: =COUNTIF(F5:AJ5,1)

    Then in the total table

    B62: =25-SUMPRODUCT(($E$5:$E$133=A62)*($AM$5:$AM$133))
    Cheers

    Re: Leave Planner

    Hi,

If you edit cell A4 to Malcolm and remove the space on the end also, then the conditional formatting will work on the calendar when you input dates.

    Re: Leave Planner

Hi all, i am a newbie to this but have now setup the exact planner as mentioned in this thread. I was wondering if there was a way of leaving prior dates highlighted after changing the from and to dates? this would save having to manually enter in the employees name entry again? hope this makes sense and i appreciate your feedback.

    Thanks
