    Post Double If Statement Help

    Hello,
I was trying to change the following code to include another statement.

Please Login or Register to view this content.
This code says currently that IF I5=GV and J5=Error, output "input required"

I want to include IFI5=GV and J5=Defective, then output "input required"

    Thanks,
    -Vargs

    Not tested:

    =IF(AND(I5="GV",OR(J5="Error",J5="Defective")),"Input Required", " ")

    Hi
When you say you want to add another statement, do you mean that you want to include the J5="Defective" as well as the J5="Error"?
Also when you say "Error", do you literally mean the text "Error" or by error are you referring to the evaluation of a formula which returns an error like say #N/A?
I'll assume "Error" is text. So presumably

Thank you for the quick reply TMShucks and Richard Buttrey.

I used the code in TMSchucks post and it worked perfectly.

Thank you so much for both your replies.

    Sincerely,
