    vlookup help

    i am using vlookup, but for entries that do not have a choice that correspond to it, i want the field to be blank, instead i am getting a number on it....all the fields are correct except the ones that need to be empty...does anyone know how to do this

    Without seeing your data, I guess =if(iserror(your_vlookup),"",your_vlookup)

    There is also the IFERROR function in XL2007
