    Count occurrences of any numbers within a cell

    Please take a look at the attached XLS.

    I want to count the number of numbers in each cell in column A (ignoring the "+" signs) and display it in column B.

    So if cell A2's value is "1 + 9 + 42 + 43 + 106 + 112 +134"
    Then cell B2's value would be "7" because there are seven numbers listed in the value of cell A1.

    Does that make sense? Can anyone come up with a nifty way to do this?
