    Wink Days convert to months

    Good day All,

I'm trying to convert number of days to months. I have the number of days and the month. Example: 79 days from Jan 1, 2009 is how many months.

    Thanks so much.

    You'd think that's an easy question...but
what do you consider to be a "month"?
    • Whole calendar months?
    • 30-day increments?
    • something else?

    Re: Days convert to months

    Hi Ron,

I guess thirty days. Here is the situation. I was given the number of days from 1 January 2009. My first set of stats is 79 days. I really don't know if they used 30 or 31. So, the statement is 79 days after January 1, 2009 which is about 2.5 months. But I want to use a formula because some of days are before 1 Jan 2009. I hope I haven't confused you.

Thanks so much for your help.
