    Pivot table average excluding zeros

    Hi Guys,

I'm having a problem, maybe silly but is making me mad, I'm trying to get an average result from a column in a Pivot table, but if I have zeros the result come back incorrect.

I've attached a file to show what I'm looking for, the result in dark yellow is what I want.

    As always thanks in advance

    Dip

    Hi Dipwind,

I guess you are running into the averages of averages isn't the same as the average of numbers. In Pivot Tables, when you show the values as the averages of the numbers, that is what it is doing.

I suggest you do simple formulas outside the pivot table to calculate your desired result.
