    Multiply by only the decimal

I would like to know how multiply one cell with only the decimal part of a number in another. E.G. 2.75 * 32 = 24. This is probably not too difficult but the more I look at it the more complicated I am making it!! Hope someone can help me out - thanks

    One way:

    =(2.75-INT(2.75))*32

Re: Multiply by only the decimal

    Assuming A1: =2.75 and B1: =32 then use

    =(A1-INT(A1))*B1
