Sort by multiple columns by Letter in Cell of one column

I have a chart with a field that requires the last digit to be a letter, "A", "B", or "C", prior to this Letter there are a series of numbers, such as 19-03B, I want to sort this column by Letters, so all the A's are first then all the B's then all the C's.

In this example I want to sort all the fields by Column H, but I want these to show all the A's first, can this be done?

You could add a column, extract the letter to that column, sort on the column, and then hide it (if needed).
