can formula If type into conditional format ?

i want a method that A1 have any word , B1 will appear "new product" , normally i inside this formula into all B column cell =IF(A1="","","new product") . When i inside new row , the new row was inserted will not follow the formula .
I discover that conditional format and format cell will automatic follow the formula when i inside new row, i think my problem as above should be done on conditional format or format cell.

    Any idea ?

    thanks

Um, I got a little confused, but if you are wanting to apply the identical conditional formatting to all cells in B column (B is a column not a row), just click on the "B" itself to highlight the entire column, then go to your conditional format manager/table to set up the formatting.
Sorry if that's not what you are asking

PS - re. not automatically filling cells with the formula, only text entries autofill and not numeric ones.

If I'm understanding correctly, the answer is "no", you cannot have conditional formatting or "format cell" enter in text or formula's like that.
If you format the range as a Table, and you set up each row of the table with your formula, then when you insert a row within the table, it will automatically fill with your formulas. Hope that helped.
