Hello all,
I need to subtotal column L for like dates. Column A contains dates and each of the adjoining columns has different types of labor costs i.e. burden, per diem, over time etc... these items all total for each employee in column L. The trick is that some days there are only two or three employees and other days there may be 10+ (each employee daily record is a row). How can I get daily subtotals for each day? Thanks for any help.

1) A Pivot Table could probably do this.
2) SUMIF() formula should do what you want. Put the dates you want to sum for in an empty column, or use Advanced Filter on column A to get a list of unique values in a new column.
Let's say the dates to collect are now in column S. In T2 and copied down would be:
=SUMIF(A:A, S2, L:L)
