Linking cells between worksheets

Hi,
I am trying to link cells from one worksheet within the same workbook to another. I want the cell's value to automatically fill a cell on another worksheet (its like a summary of info from all of the worksheets). How do I do that?

practically any formula can link to another sheet
if you include the sheet name
at it simplest
say on sheet1
put =sheet2!a1
