Formula to change numbers to a string of text.

    Hello Everybody,

I was wondering if anybody could help me out. I need to convert dollar amounts to text in excel. There are a lot of them, and I was wondering if there was a quicker way to do this besides typing them all out by using a formula.

Here is an example of what I need to do.

I have a list of dollar amounts:

    $118,973.90

I need to convert to this format

One Hundred Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-three and 90/100 dollars

Kind of like what you would see on a check.

Thanking you in advance for the help

OzGrid has some VBA that might help.
