Connections to Access DB - query availability

Hi all,

I have a workbook (2007) in which I have created a number of connections to an Access DB to pull in query and table contents.

I click "From Access" in the "Get External Data" group and select the DB in the usual way, but I am finding that not every table or query that exists in the database is listed in the "Select Table" window.

Is it that some tables / queries have properties that make them unavailable for linking in this way? It doesn't seem to relate to the amount of data that would be returned. Any advice gratefully received as always.
