fill or shade cell diagonally ?

is there a way to fill a cell with a color (blue for example) diagonally?

i could manually do this with two triangle auto shapes, one shaded blue and the other shaded white, grouped together (see attached excel file).

but this looks awful when trying to print to pdf or with a print-preview since the triangles don't line up perfectly.

any tip to make this less manual? thanks in advance for your response!

attached is an example of what i wanted it to look like (copied from a pix)

thanks so much for the macro, it's the same as inserting a Parallelogram auto shape, rotate and put a text box on top of it?

i'm interested in formatting the cells directly and not have to mess with resizing different text boxes. guess i'll need to do some more research.
