Hide Worksheets but still Access Them?

    Hi everybody,

I was wondering if it was possible, within Excel 2007, to hide worksheets within a workbook, but still be able to access them via Macros setup to open the sheet at the click of a button.

Basically because I do not want the user of the workbook to use the tabs at the bottom of the screen, I want them to use the buttons on the worksheets to navigate the workbook!

    Thanks,

    Nick

You don't need to hide them per se if you disable the "Show Tabs" option for the workbook (Excel Options -> Advanced -> "Display options for this Workbook")

I always forget the one of the most important parts of the description, thanks for the answer, but the spreadsheet will be on a network and accessable to everyone on different computers.
Would the setting of hiding the tabs save with the document?
And thus apply the same settings to another machine it is opened on?

    Cheers!

It's a Workbook Level setting rather than an Application Level Setting.

Of course they could toggle the setting but equally if you opt for the Hide/Unhide route they could equally disable Macros - so it's "swings and roundabouts" IMO.
