    can rows be moved automatically?...

    I have been using Excel for 12+ years and have always been able to solve anything I have needed to do myself with formulas or macros...

    But I am stumped here and don't know if this is even possible unless there is some VB code to solve it and I have never used VB...

    The attached file is from Excel 2007....

    I "simply" want to automatically have the data in Columns F through J to be moved to the corresponding row where the date in column F matches up with the date in column A...

    I guess after 12 years of using Excel (including working on a Helpdesk for 45 months) I am entitled to ask for help for the first time as I am stumped here...

    Here you go,
    Original Columns F:J is moved to Sheet 2 to get it out of the way.
    You were on an excel Help Desk for 45 months? How was that?

    Macros=VBA!
    Hope that helps.

    Thanx davesexcel for solving this very quickly...I'll mark this "solved" as the problem I posted is in fact solved for sure, but the answer prompts another question which I will post in a new thread...
