Excel 2007 : help with formula to join two and then return how many count in sheet b

i have this in Sheet A Server Name OS Domain
Sheet B Server MAC Address ip

In Database i would join the table with the Server Name and then count howmany mac address per server How do i do that in Excel.

You would do best to post a sample workbook showing your Sheet Layout and perhaps Before and After examples.

Sheet1 is just basic

Server Name OS DOMAIN NIC count


Sheet2 is
Server Name Mac IP




What i want to do is get a formula for NIC count on Sheet 1 utlizing the servername as the key between both sheets. A server will have multiple nic i juts need to count based on the MAC address which is unique but also could be duplicated based on having multiple IPs
