    Wrong Result of Function PMT

Hi, I am getting a problem in function AMT. It is not giving the right answer. Could someone help me? I have given these parameters to this function:
    Rate : 0.05
    nper : 5
    pv : 100,000
    fv : 1,000,000
    type : 0

it should produce the result 157,877.32 while it giving the answer 204,072.28. I have double checked it with function FV using the following parameters.
    Rate : 0.05
    nper : 5
    pmt : 157,877.32
    pv : 100,000
    type : 0

using this parameter FV function give the right answer of 1,000,000.

Would be very thankful if someone could help me out....!!

Re: Wrong Result of Function PMT

Make your PV -100000 and you will get the proper answer.
