Determining the cell to calculate.

Hello All

How can I ask excel to calculate the value from one of four cells. Obviously I need excel to calulate the populated cell and ignore the blanks. Each of the four columns will contain a different calculation for which I need the result to appear in the result column.

I have tried doing it with if statements but end up getting lost.

I have attached an example.

If any cell can contain Null rather than a true blank encase cell references within N( ) such that they are assigned a 0 numeric value (per blank)
