Custom Property character limits

Are there limits to the amount of characters that can be passed to a Custom Property? I am running into a 126 char limit when passing text from SolidWorks Enterprise PDM data card variable.

This is very helpful in doing some Brisbane depreciation schedule for any real estate properties.
