Populate a Table from another two columns sheet

Hi guys, could you help me to solve this problem.

You see I want to populate my table in the first sheet:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
with data from another sheet (two columns data)
Please Login or Register to view this content.
so that my first table/sheet will look like this:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
I need the solution to shorten the amount of time to do that (routine) task above.
I used to (and still) finish that task around 8 hours (total) using vlookup function.
So I'm really grateful if you have solution that will speed up the process.

    Thanks for your help!
    Joshua.

    joshua123,

    Welcome to the Excel Forum.

To get the most precise answer, it is best to upload/attach a sample workbook (sensitive data scrubbed/removed) that contains an example of your raw data on one or more worksheet(s), and on another worksheet your desired results.

The structure and data types of the sample workbook must exactly duplicate the real workbook. Include a clear and explicit explanation of your requirements.

To attach your workbook scroll down and click on the Go Advanced button, then scroll down and click on the Manage Attachments button.
    Have a great day,

Hi Stan, thanks for your quick response and welcome. I really appreciate that man!

Here, I attach a simple sample of my problem. Please tell me if the explanation isn't clear enough.

    Thanks a lot.
    Joshua.

    joshua123,

When you reply you do not have to quote your helpers data.

ANNEX on the first sheet is in cell A4.

Does you raw data always start in this cell, or does it start in cell A1?

    joshua123,

With your raw data in worksheet Sheet1.

    Detach/open workbook joshua123 - EF759674 - SDG12.xls and run macro ReorgData.

Re: Populate a Table from another two columns sheet

Thanks for the macro, Stan! :D
I thought my problem could be solved (just) by some formulas/functions that I don't know of. I didn't think it would require some macro at all. LOL, silly me.

Anyway, I could use this macro to compact my (yearly) table, and clean up some inactive customers / items.

But, for the mean time could you give some macros or formulas/functions to just fill/populate a fixed table (no table construction at all) from a raw input.

I include a closer version of my real table (with explanation).

Thanks a lot, you are so helpful!

    Regards & Blessings,
    Joshua.

    joshua123,

I do not know how to create a formula in worksheet Report Table, to fill in the quantities from worksheet Raw Input Sample, the way your Raw Input Sample worksheet is setup.

Click on the New Post button, then just enter the word BUMP, and click on the Submit Reply button and some else will assist you.
