Enter value as itt is

Sir if i tried to enter the text 2 a in a celll it i showing 2:00 am.......
If i enter 2a it is ok.....but if i put a space between the 2a i am getting wrong entry
pls help me to resolve the problem

Format the cell as text before you enter any data. Excel is guessing at your format and needs to be advised of what you truly want.
