stuck: Lookup help

I am stuck on my last task with workbook WK1 in enclosed file

WK1 tab
Column U -
=LOOKUP(T3,I:I,J:J ) for some reason it is not transfering the info in J that matches I

Try instead perhaps.

=VLOOKUP(T3,I:J,2,0 )

LOOKUP requires the column I entries are in alphabetically ascending order, which they are not.

That helped SORTOF........Only problem are the gaps in columns dont match and when I enter this for u3, it loads correct info in U3&U4

It is filling in two rows U3&U4

You have somehow merged the two rows... unmerge them (Home Tab, click Merge & Center button).

You are right - I created lists......HOW DO I DELETE THEM?

Where did you create Lists... those are merged cells.. just unmerge them from the Home tab.
