basic stock take sheet update

I am trying to create a stock take sheet that will look at the product code and update the qty if same code is found in database. I have created a basic front end that asks for code and qty , however it puts the stock code into the DB ask typed and i don't know how to get it to update the qty .

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!

You know getting a message when clicking the red "X" on a form annoys me, I'm sure that your message would more than annoy the end user. I hardly think that knowing that clicking the X should close the form, quite the reverse.

Should your list contain multiple identical codes

I've replaced the textbox with a Combobox so that the user can easily select the stock code, but also add new ones by typing into the Combobox.

The add button will amend existing items or add new ones
