Open Embed OLE in Windows 7

Hi Guys,

Need your help again: we have an Excel .xls file with an embedded OLE object, which is a .txt file. Everything works fine when opening up this embedded file in Windows XP but when opened in Windows 7, the text file adds the file name (and the path) and a couple of non-standard characters (squares) at the beginning of the file. A portion of the contents (at the end) is also chopped out. Any clue on how I can troubleshoot?
