Filtering data based on data from another worksheet.

Good evening,

I am attempting to delete bad records in a exported contact list.

I have an excel worksheet that contains 17k records with email addresses and names and so on. I ran this data through an external program which gave me a single excel file with the verified email addresses, about 5k.

I would like to take this list and within excel have it delete any rows where the email column does not contain an email address that appears in this second file. Sort of like filtering for duplicates except I'm filtering for unique records and removing them.

Hi Leitirmor and welcome to the forum,

A VLookup formula will return an error if it doesn't find a value (if you use the exact match as the last argument). This may be a good way to determine if an email address matches. See examples at:
