    Deleted files

    I'm using Excel 07 running under Windows 7.

    In Excel, when I click the four-squares Microsoft icon in the upper left, it opens a small box in the upper left that displays recent documents.

    If a recent document has be deleted, Excel still shows it in their list. How do I get Excel to actually see if a document exists before it displays its name?

    Welcome to the forum.

    Don't think you can. The most recently used list is a convenience, not forensic.
