add more fill color icons to the menu

    Hello

In my home menu, there is only one "fill color" (the icon with the bucket) by default, can I know how to add more color to it? I frequently need to use 3 to 4 colors to color the cells, so I would like to have these colors available at the menu and I can apply it with one click, instead of having the hassle to access the dropdown to pick and choose the color everytime.

Another question, is it possible to have the recent colors saved? I notice if i pick a color from the "more colors", it does not get saved in the recent colors as time goes by.

    Thanks all

    Hi rowrow,

I believe you should create about 5 macros, each to change the background color of a cell.
Then add these macros to the QAT and modify them so the icon is the color you want.

    See the attached. and http://www.rondebruin.nl/imageqat.htm

The link you have given looks complicated, anyway, my "Customize Quick Access Toolbar" is greyed out

Your excel QATBackColors.xlsm looks good. But if I move the sheet to 19 inch monitor, the different color boxes in the menu gets hidden away and it does not work. (i think small screens will auto hide display the boxes.)

Is there a way to increase number of small icons like the fill icon?

Is there a way to import the menu of QATBackColors.xlsm to my existing excel sheet?

    Thanks
