    Conditional Formatting columns

so in row 3 i have the work weeks listed example A3 =1, B3 =2, C3 =3 etc to week 52, in cell BQ2 i have the current work week listed based of a cross reference of today() for example today is 2/14/11 so cell BQ2 = 2 for work week 2.

what i want to happen is when the work week changes and you open the workbook the entire column is highlighted for the active week.

appreciate any tips on this one

    Re: Conditional Formatting columns

If you select the whole range A3:AZ100 (or further down if you require) you can then use this formula in conditional formatting

    =A$3=$BQ$2

    and set format as required

Note the $ signs - they need to be exactly like that

Quick way to select the range A3:AZ100.....just type it into the box above a1 and press ENTER
    Audere est facere
