2 cells same value, type is both

Question, I have a work book that has 2 work sheets, a cell in number 1 work sheet has the quantity of an item which is manually entered, work sheet 2 is a summary and displays the quantity of the item (='work sheet 1'!A1) etc. So basically is it possible to be able to type in both cells but both cells remain the same value.

    Appreciate any help

So if you change either sheet it should reflect the value in the other one?

This reflects the change in A1 on Sheet1 on Sheet2:

The code needs to go on Sheet1's code page so right click on the sheet tab and select View Code.

Similar code would have to go on Sheet2's code page changing the sheet reference in this line to Sheet1:

    Dom,

Thanks for all your help so far, however a further complication in my work book is as follows:-

Using above sheet names and cell numbers - Sheet1 Cell A1 has the formula - =IF(ISERR(INDIRECT("'Sheet1'!A1")),"",INDIRECT("'Sheet1'!A1")) in it.

and I would really like to keep that formula, is it possible.?

    Appreciate you help.

Nope. You can have a formula or a value in a cell, not both.
