Excel 2007 : problems with multiple criteria

hi there

i need a formula that counts how many times a specific name has chosen a specific job
i also need a formula that sum's up the price, for the above mentioned problem

ask if you need more info and i will try to provide it

It's not clear which combinations you need to COUNT / SUM but I'd suggest reading through the Help Files re: COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, SUMIF, SUMIFS *

*TÆLHVIS, TÆL.HVISER, SUM, SUM.HVIS in terms of Danish equivalents if running a non-English version

You might also want to investigate use of Pivot Tables.
